Stuck first time out

#1

Hi guys. I have just downloaded ver. 4.2.1 and it opens an ‘empty’ window containing whatever happened to be under it. Here’swhat I did, and the result:

aunty@vanessa:~/downloads > chmod a+x ./Pingendo*.AppImage
aunty@vanessa:~/downloads > ./Pingendo-4.2.1-x86_64.AppImage
/tmp/.mount_PingenLemd3A/Pingendo: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdbus-1.so.3: no version information available (required by /tmp/.mount_PingenLemd3A/Pingendo)

Is it me, the AppImage thing, the program itself, or my Mint 17.3 installation?
I have tried the sample (dive log) program on the AppImage website, and it seems to work ok.

Cheers,
Aunty

Hard to say without additional infos… in the app menu, under View menu, click Dev Tools
Try to paste here the console trace
Thank you

Hi
Thanks for the reply gseregni. I cannot follow your advice however, as the application menu doesn’t even come up. Just a bare window frame with the content underneath showing through.
Cheers

Are you running on 64 or 32 bit ?
